Afriland Properties Plc Shares gain 16.3% to settle at N2.00 per share

The NASD Over-the-Counter (OTC) Securities Exchange extended its stay in the positive territory for another week (Week 9) as it rose by 1.37 per cent.

The improvement was supported by the trio of Afriland Properties Plc, FrieslandCampina Wamco Nigeria Plc, and Geo-Fluids, while Central Securities Clearing Systems (CSCS) Plc depreciated.

Afriland Property Plc gained 16.3 per cent to settle at N2.00 per share versus N1.72 per share, FrieslandCampina Wamco Nigeria Plc rose by 9.6 percent to N74.50 per unit versus N68.00 per unit, and Geo-Fluids Plc increased by 6.2 percent to N1.20 per share versus N1.13 per share.

However, the share price of CSCS Plc went down in the week by 0.7 percent to trade at N13.50 per unit, in contrast to the preceding week’s value of N13.59 per unit.

In the end, NASD investors gained N12.92 billion, as the market capitalisation of the bourse finished at N952.64 trillion compared with the previous week’s N939.72 billion, while the NASD Unlisted Securities Index (NSI) rose by 9.84 points to wrap the week at 724.99 points compared with the 715.15 points recorded in the previous week.
